(who previously scripted the stageplay
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) notably featured Dafne Keen (Lyra), Amir Wilson (Will), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lee), James McAvoy (Asriel), Ruth Wilson (Mrs Coulter), Ariyon Bakare (Lord Boreal),
Andrew Scott (John Parry) and Simone Kirby (Mary Malone).
Three series of seven or eight
episodes aired between 2019 and 2022.
The production team openly shared that they would now love to adapt Lyra's adulthood adventures, but that this would only be discussed once the final book of
The Book of Dust trilogy is released.
